The last ever batch of Blix, rescued from the dying embers of Pathlight. Aged 30 months in Elijah Craig barrels, this viscous and utterly delicious stout will be your last taste of Pathlight magic.

5 oz half pour draft at Oak & Steel in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is an opaque black with a dark tan head that fades fast. The aroma is initially a big bourbon barrel, the oak wood, cane sugar and the warming rich malt of the bourbon below and all around. The taste is rich cane sugar caramel malt, moving quickly to the boozy bourbon oak wood. The palate is medium to heavier bodied, low carbonation, a viscous mouth feel and bourbon and wood to the hot finish. Glad I had a chance to try this one, miss you Pathlight.
