(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Gastropub Praha, 20151230) The beer poured dark brown with floating bits. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had chocolate, aniseed, coffee and burnt malts. Palate was medium bodied and a bit warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, burnt malts, clove, booze and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, boozy and bitter. A promising aroma but messy taste.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Cocoa powder, candi sugar caramel up front. Sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Somewhat fruity with brown sugar as main component. Mid bitter finish. Generic and dull.

Brown-amber color with big tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, raisins, liquorice, a hint of foie gras. Taste is more roasted malts and raisins, but also spruces, quite herbal, with a heavy liquorice finish. Quite boozy as well. Might be better with some age on it, it?s a bit hot still.

Pours deep mahogany into a tulip. Pancake head with excellent retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Dark chocolate covered pit fruit aromas. Warming with dark chocolate, hot caramel and pit fruit front to back. Lasting, toasty chocolate burn finish.

Bastante buena.

At Kerstbierfestival 2015. Pours black, big white head. Smell is bit sweet, but not intense. Taste is burnt malts, grainy, good amount of roastyness. Very thin and seems like mikeller really turns less specific tastewise, more blank, thin, and weak. The taste is still good, but a shine of what mikkeller used to be.
