The elegant beer for connoisseurs who love a light, hoppy bitterness and a refined dry taste. Finest Saphir hops provide the typical lemony aroma and gently kiln-dried malt gives the beer its light color. Lean and vibrant - a first-class Pilsner beer.

Purchased at Wilbur's Liquors in Ft Collins.
Pours fron 0.5L bottle a clear straw gold with a fairly large head of foam that shrinks quickly leaving jst a bit of spotting on the surface and very little lacing.
The smell has a good Pilsner nose to it. Some light malty character with good hoppy notes. Smells very Austrian. ;^)
The taste on first sip is fairly malty, I note a bit of biscuit that is quite flavourful, but the hops move in and give the brew, at first, a nice balance and then, the light bitterness that they impart take control and I'm liking the end result.
Further sips in, and as the beer warms, the hop bitterness intensifies a bit but in a lipsmackingly good way. This Pilsner is *way* easy to drink and being at the abv that it is, I'd see no problem having this session beer all day long, especially with the warmer temperatures head my way.
The body is just right for the style and it's pretty lightly carbonated.
Bottom line: This is a very nice Pilsner. If it was available locally, It would be on my regular rotation. I recoomend it.

From old tasting notes. Deep yellow gold color with a huge bubbly white head. Salty, sweetish malt aroma. Delicious hoppy flavor with a hint of metallic undertones. Bittersweet malty finish. Long tasty hoppy aftertaste.

On tap at Jane Doe’s Östersund. Pretty standard euro lager, was expecting better. (23/2/17). ---- Tap at Stiegl Klosterhof, Linz. gorgeous sweetness to it...if a little bit of metal at rhe end. Apologies or terrible rating before. 2.3 to 3.2 (15/12/23).

Tap. Clear golden color with white head and a high carbonation. Aroma is mildly grassy, some citrus leafs, orange, Fruchtgummi, and a slight malty/grainy sweetness. Taste is grassy, mil malty and grainy sweetness, Fruchtgummi and citrus/orange flavours again. Clean and crisp, with a rather bitter dry finish. Solid hoppiness, solid crispness. Soft but high carbonation. Not a bad Pils at all, I think this is underrated.

Turhake Alkossa.
