Inspired by historic Franconian Rotbiers, Gurnard is a lesser-seen lager beer that pours a burnt orange colour with fluffy white foam. The flavour blends rich malt flavours with refreshing noble hop character. Expect notes of toasted bread, biscuit and marmalade balanced with notes of red fruits, apricots and spice. Pairs wonderful with autumnal fare.

Keg @ Sea Farmer's Dive, Whitstable. Pours a misty amber, off-white head. Good maltiness to this.. smooth, grainy sweetness, very satisfying rotbier.
