Murphy St is a 6% West Coast IPA brewed in Richmond using Columbus, Citra, Amarillo and Cryo Nectaron hops. This combination, added via a hop cannon, creates a punchy flavour profile full of pineapple, passionfruit and pithy grapefruit with a dank undercurrent that is perfectly balanced by a bold malty base that is amplified by the Murphy St’s direct fire heating system.

500ml can from Mountain Culture, Redfern, Sydney. Poured a slightly hazy yellow golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, fresh, toffee caramel, light citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Not bitter enough to be a West Coast.

Sampled at Billies, day 2. Clear super bright golden color, small white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, decently hoppy, slightly metallic, distant citrus notes. Okay. 9-7-6-7-6

8/XI/25 - on tap @ Billies Craft Beer Festival Day 2 - Session 1 (Antwerp), BB: n/a (2025-1209) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!
Clear orange beer, small creamy dense white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: quite a lot of orange peel, a little herbal, piny, sweet caramel malts. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit floral, soapy start, malty touch, grassy bitterness, a bit resinous, old school west coast ipa. Aftertaste: bitter and dry, a bit malty, hay, grains, a little watery, grassy hops in the finish, decent!
