A wild ale aged in oak for 30 months
This beer was brewed by founder Adam and prior brewer Robert at our original location on First Ave. Utilizing two different base worts and a blend of microbes this beer was fermented and then aged in oak for approximately 30 months. These barrels were moved with the rest of Bias to our current location on Main St, and is the last remaining beer from that era. This beer was blended, bottled, and then conditioned for an additional year before being released from our cellar.

Slight haze. Some tartness, stone fruit, soft body, good stone fruit character. Nice balance, not a ton of complexity, but it is solid.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma has some spicy pine needles, gentle bugginess, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour has tons of oak, wild yeast, and spicy spruce-tip-like character. Not super complex, but it’s clean and has some complexity. It’s decent.

750mL bottle. Pours murky blonde with a white head. Rustic wild yeast and buttery oak barrels on the nose. Flavour has lots of buttery oak, rustic yeast, very light acidity, plenty of earthy notes. Not bad, nice barrel treatment.
