reddish brown color, no head. loads of cherry pie in this. i love that aroma. no oak though :( acidity is about a 9/10, persimmon and peaches come to mind. not woody at all with a faint lemonade flavor.thin, sadly not the best.

750 ml bottle thanks to Craig. Pours a clear dark copper color with a medium white head. A big sour sawdust cherry nose. The flavor is big sharp sourness, cherry, a sweet malty base. Very interesting. Pretty good. Woody.

6100th rating. Bottle thanks to Dallas. Pours a cloudy copper with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is cherry skin, funk, oak. Thin mouth, tart cherry, oak tannins, easy to drink, light acidity, nice sour.

Bottle shared at a tasting. A sour red. Good sour flavor and yeast in the aroma, also some berry flavor, which I attribute to the port barrels. A little vinegar.

Bottle thanks to Santa! Pours a cloudy red with a peach hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of sour red fruits that have an acidic bite and and just a hint of grain. Flavor starts strong with sour/acidic red fruits but finish is more mellow and reserved.
