This juicy, tropical-fruit-hop-loaded beer is just BURSTING with notes of peach, fresh melon, citrus, and passion fruit. And at a very "sessionable" 4.5%, you can really spend some quality time with it and not get hurt. (Session #07)

A hazy golden orange with a 2 finger solid white head. The aroma is great. smells like summer with this really refreshing burst of just delicious smelling wheat and citrus. Good mouthfeel, citra hops at the end followed by another sweet first of orange juice. it’s great and refreshing.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is wheat and citrus. Medium body, flavors match aroma, dry finish, decent.

Bottle: (hand-me-down from shrubber via Weihenweizen....thanks both!) Hazy, slightly greenish/dirty gold with a huge, puffy white head. Orange, grapefruit, pine, wheat aroma. Flavour is sweet....orange malt, pine, orange-pel, wheat malt. Wonderful body and tingly brightness. I could drink these all day.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a weizen glass. Hazy pale golden with huge fluffy white head. Aroma is light fresh herbal hops, medium body, well carbonated, and little lacing. Taste is rich herbal hops and slightly bitter finish. Quite good for the style, refreshing, but a little pricey.

Firkin version at Barley’s 6th Annual Mini RAF (04/26/08): This brew is a hazy orange-yellow color with a medium thin light beige head that diminishes steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Grapefruit and hops in the nose. Medium-bodied with a strong astringent hops flavor that overpowers any trace of malt. Some wheat and yeast is present as well. The finish retains the harsh bitterness and leaves a metallic hops aftertaste. Not sure what was going on with this beer but something was definitely not right.
