Hazy. Reddish brown. Smells like coconut cream pie and vanilla. Mmmm. Ashy, camp wood. European hops. Certainly some smoke and ash from barrels. No extra liquor. Easy finish. Leaves a little boo ones. Has like an SNPA flavor to it. I get some almonds as well.

Draft at the source. Clear brown color. Nice aroma of vanilla, burnt caramel. Taste has tannins, caramel, some vinous characteristics. Very tasty.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy coppet with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong oak, candy sugar, toffee. Medium body, candy sugar, toffee, oak, boozy finish, very nice.

Draft - Big caramel and oaky notes. Jet brown with a nice beige head. Sweet caramel, oak and sweet nutty. Solid.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a hazy dark brown color with a large fluffy tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was boozy with pineapple, grapefruit, wood and whiskey. The flavor was pineapple and grapefruit followed by pine, wood and whiskey. Long finish. Booziness grows and becomes rather overwhelming. Moderately full bodied. Interesting.
