Named after Anubis, the god of the gateway to the spirit world, The Embalmer makes a timeless gate from the past to the future in the realm of IPAs. This brew guides you through a flavour journey that honours tradition while embracing innovation. This classic style is updated with a modern twist, featuring a traditional malt bill combined with a bold selection of new-age hops. Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8
Can. Clear amber, a dense cm+ of cream head that hangs around OK. Majestic pine, stickyish breadcrust and kumquat aroma. Hints of richness but only a little sweet with swelling pine and tenor register citrus before a bitterness that grips gradually. Very good.
