Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Some oak present. Moderate bitter flavor. Long moderate bitter nice finish. Creamy palate. Well balanced oak-aged beer.

330ml Bottle - Brown with a foamy head and orangey tinges. Brown sugar, raisins, caramel and oak in the aroma. Smooth, fruity and slightly rich taste with raisins, liquorice and marzipan standing out. Easy to drink for such a potent beer.

0,33l bottle at kangaroo pub shared by a friend. BB 09/2017. Black colour, small tan head. Smells of plums, spices, sweetness, notes of grapes, flowery. Decent smell. Full body, soft carbonation, full mouthfeel. Tastes sweet, dried fruits, plums, raisins, grapes, creamy, light chocolate. Finishes lightly bitter sweet with notes of dried fruits and plums. Decent stuff drinks actually quite nice.

Bottle@Yesprs - Amber brown coloured pour with dissipating off white head. Aroma and taste is sweet and medium roasty malty, with some caramel, brown sugar, light yeasty notes, some winter spices in the palate, pretty overt boozy finish but enjoyable nonetheless.

33 cl bottle. Pours cloudy orange to brown with a huge off white head. Aroma is roasted malty. Sweet, toasted malty, breadish and toasted malt. Wooden, smooth fruity, bitter and light phenolic. Fruity finish.

Bottle sampled at Essen Winterbier festival 2015. Appears clear brown with a medium bubbly tan head. Aroma of caramel, perfume, light vinegar, malt and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Sampled @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2015. Nice clear dark red color, a bit fizzy off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, sweetish, candy sugar, a slight hint of wood. Tastes about the same: malts, sweetish, candy sugar, hint of wood. Something a bit odd in the background though. Can’t figure out what it is. Decent.
