Sour Ale Aged On Peaches

Drinking this medium-bodied beer is like biting into a juicy, yet tart, peach. Farm to Face is brewed as a pale ale and then fermented for ten months in stainless tanks with house yeast. After primary fermentation, Pediococcus, Lactobacillus, and a whole lot of peaches are added. Aromas of green apple and graham cracker accompany a lingering peachy finish.

Bottle shared courtesy of Kermis. Poured a hazy light amber with a round white head. The aroma is light citrus acid. The flavour is moderate to strong sour with a crisp peachy tart acid face squirming acidic palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Makes you sit up and take notice, but not for too long.

Refrigerated 12.7 oz. brown bottle poured into a snifter. Aroma is tart peach, medium body, light soft carbonation, and thin small-bubble lacing. Taste is nice sour peach. Another very nice Allagash beer.

Bottle - Very light stone fruit and some odd funk. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Tart, acidic and dry. Peaches are mild and apple in the dryness, but just not as good as expected.

GABF 2015. Light peach in the aroma, yeast. Flavor has a lot of peach, moderately sour, and tons of real peach flavor. It doesn’t smell bad, but the flavor is better.

Tap at rattle as I get a New England flight to finish night. Hazy gold. Nice funky peach nose. Tastes of peach pit, oak, stone fruit, hay and other barnyard. Not a ton of diverse favors but very tasty the ones that are there. Creamy lightly tart palate. Nice tropical fruit finish.
