12 oz. can. Hazy color gold with fast diminishing head, leaves nothing behind. Aroma is mild coriander and weak wheat.

Flavor shows bready malt as a base. The finish has a salinity with a very weak coriander seed. Very weak tartness in lighter body. Palate has a medium to high in carbonation that gives a fizzy mouthfeel. This is not really getting me excited. C02 is way too high. Seems to have been brewed to please the masses. Weak in every way.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 7/25/2016. Pours hazy golden straw color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of lightly tart lemon, lime, peach, melon, pear, apple, coriander, sea salt, pepper, wheat, cracker, hay, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, salt/spice, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart lemon, lime, peach, melon, pear, apple, coriander, sea salt, pepper, wheat, cracker, hay, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/yeast spiciness and light fruity tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, lime, peach, melon, pear, apple, coriander, sea salt, pepper, wheat, cracker, hay, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, salt/spice, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from spiciness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, fairly creamy/grainy/sticky, and lightly acidic/saline balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a nice Gose style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, salt/spice, and pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. This was more balanced in flavors for a gose; with more acidity and salinity it could have been better; but it was still nicely enjoyable.

Pours an amber orange from a can, good lacing. Funky aroma and flavor, tart and bitter, a little salt in the finish. Okay beer.

Can sample at a Gose tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of wheat, coriander, saltwater, citrus. Mildly tart and mildly sweetish flavor, with a bit of graininess, wheat, some coriander, some citrus, and a bit of bitterness in the finish. Quite light-bodied. Decent.

12 ounce can from Beer Run, Leap Day 2016. Hazy amber, large foamy off-white head. Good retention. Aroma of wheat, strong briny salt, lemon. The taste is wheat, lemon, olive brine, briny salt, coriander. Medium bodied, high carbonation, bright, refreshing, lots of minerality. A little more assertive than most goses, but it works.
