Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Amber color; creamy head. Spice and malt aroma, maybe vanilla. Lean mouthfeel; caramel flavor, fudge, and spicy cookies; ordinary bitterness.
Not bad, but there is too much Christmas for me here.

Draught at Pats Pub. Amber and clear but a little dull. There is a lot of vanilla in this one. It has a light malty character. Thin head. Fairly simple overall - while many BC brewers have progressed, Tree is still living ten years ago making poorly-executed gimmick beers. Too bad.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper with a white head. Vanilla and chocolate on the nose. Flavour of light cocoa, vanilla, bread malts and a touch of cinnamon. Light-bodied and not overly stimulating, though decent.
