Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A dark brown beer, near black with a mid-sized most good lasting tan head. Aroma of sweet wood, oak, dark malt, mild roasted malt, bourbon, some chocolate. Taste of strong dark roasted malt, coffee, wood, bourbon, roasted coffee, some chocolate, full body, awesome!

Many thanks to nimbleprop for this 75cl bottle. Great deep nose of roast, plums, brown sugar and wood. The beer starts intense woody. Lots of woody bourbon, brown sugar and dry caramel. Viscous, rich, dark dried fruits - plums, black cherries and a nice woody bourbon aroma on top. Moderate bitterness, quite dry and great round an deep. Fantastic!

750ml bottle pours a nearly opaque black with some clumpy, lacing beige head. Nose has molasses, burnt caramel, vanilla, some toasted coconut, some booze, raisin, bread. Flavor has a lot of burnt stuff, char, burnt caramel, burnt toast, booze, molasses, black licorice. Finishes sweet and full bodied.

Keg at the brewery, 6/16/16. Clear dark ???, thin frothy head, poor retention. Aroma of oak, bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, booze. The taste is chocolate, caramel, bourbon, vanilla, mild booze. Medium bodied, low carbonation, well balanced.

Draft pour at Ocelot. Poured a very dark brown color, perhaps almost pitch black color. Dark wispy, bubbles atop. Aroma was woody, vanilla. Smooth, boozy notes. Bitter dark chocolates. It’s pretty smooth, but has a touch of bitterness that keeps it from hitting the next level.

Tastes of bourbon, oak, dark chocolate, caramel and toffee, light alcohol. Medium-full body with a dry finish. Pretty good.
