Watery and golden like a gross shower. Some spice. Light sweet and spicy finish. Not a whole lot of good here. Tap at Meridian Pint.

$3.99 Can from Gilly’s. Clear, almost waterlike with tiny bubbles emanating from the bottom. Aroma is garbage water, mango, and honey. Flavor is mango, heavy burning honey, peppery as hell - oh look at that: peppers in the brew. Didn’t see that beforehand. I don’t like it.

Ordinarily, I am not a fan of small, quick, light meads meant to be beer-like. But when you make it a pepper mead, well that is a nice exception. Ordinarily, a pale, not that sweet, more watery, beer alternative mead is a waste of my time. But add a nice pepper flavor and a decent burn, to the sweet, pear-like flavor, and its doable. The mango isn’t particularly present but the peppers, as intended, is the spotlight player.
