Gose (pronounced "Goes-uh") is a unique German Style beer, known for a slight tartness and mineral character. We brewed our gose with an unexpected combination of ingredients, including a pinch of salt, coriander and spicy Saaz Noble hops to create a light and refreshing taste.

Pours bright gold into a Sam glass. White frothy head with medium retention recedes leaving sticky lacing. Caramel and banana aromas. Sweet banana and bubblegum front to back. Not bad tasting, but it’s more like a wit or an American wheat than a Gose - so docking it for style.

So, I am having a party for a bunch of people that don’t really know or care about beer. Perfect opportunity to buy a mix 12 pack of something. However, all the other mix packs I came across were not as appealing as a Sam Adams with 6 different beers. I didn’t even realize one of them was a Gose. Well, its actually not really a Gose. But its a fun beer. Tastes is like a lightly sweet pear. I mean this is completely a stupid beer but I actually like the flavor for some strange reason. Its a bit like a unsweet craft soda. And definitely not a Gose, have I made myself clear?

Pour is a hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is not much really. Corriander maybe. No malt or salt. Flavor is hardly gose-like at all. It has hardly any flavor at all. Kind of a bland neutral grain. I get no salt or cucumber at all. Sam Adams really mailed it in on these new offerings.

Bottle: Nearly clear gold with a small white head. Salt, cucumber aroma. Taste is sweet cucumber, grains, salt. Really enjoyable.....I’m a big fan of cucumber beers, and this one is done well and with a balanced hand....I’d buy this by the case.
