Bottle. Pours hazy copper with a small-short-lived white head. Aroma is cucumber and yeast with gin notes. Taste is cucumber, yeast, cooked vegetables, mild funk, more gin notes. Finish is a bit sweet. Moderate carbonation. Not a traditional saison. Wouldn't purchase again.

Bomber from Bruisin Ales. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Aroma seems gin - not getting cucumber. Med body or better. Flavor has cucumber for sure. Gin is quite mild, but it helps with the cucumber. It's fairly dry, the slightest bit funky, and that may be musty barrel rather than bacteria. Still for me it's tastier and more enjoyable than expected.

On Tap cloudy amber with a thin white head. Mild light malty aroma with just a hint of the cucumber. Flavors are fairly dark and malty for a cucumber vehicle. Some of the vegetable in the flavors but this is a more malty beer lightly hopped and just a hint of the gin barrels. A miss on both those characteristics I’d say.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from Smiley’s Discount Beverage. Appearance is hazy light orange with greenish tinge, nice sparkle, 2-finger width white foamy head with nice retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is fruity esters with yeast. Taste is cucumber with fruity esters, maybe mild hints of gin. Palate is medium bodied with thick, slightly slick texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, the cucumber is much more noticeable than the contribution from the gin barrel aging. Decent.

Definitely a lot of gin and a lot of cucumber. Not sure if that’s what I look for in a beer. Pours golden with ok head and lacing. Light sweet finish with lots of barrel and lots of booze. Some cucumber.

Vegetal lime and pear nose. Cloudy amber, medium head. Pear with a surprisingly prominent and distinct flavor of cucumber, slightly fishy white grape finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation. I expected weird and it delivered. I don’t hate it.

Bottle from Boise Co-op. Cloudy deep golden with airy head. Cucumber immediately in the aroma, followed closely by some of the gin. Same with flavor, the gin barrel mutes and accents the cuke notes, tempering the flavor. Makes for a nice summer brew.

Sample at Brass Tap Polaris. Hazy yellow-gold color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of cucumber, yeast and oak. Medium body with flavors of floral yeast, fresh cucumber and subtle gin. The finish is slightly funky with a cucumber and yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.

On tap at Petrol Station. Pours a hazy orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong cucumber, yeast, lemon zest. Medium mouth, strong cucumber, yeast, spice, light dry finish, good.
