Raspberry Jam pays tribute to the groundbreaking sights and sounds of psychedelic rock. Light and refreshing, with its crisp natural tartness balanced by the addition of raspberries, this Berliner Weisse was initially developed at our brewpub Tallgrass Tap House. When it became a huge hit, we decided it should “go on tour” as part of the Explorer Series. Pucker up and rock on.

12oz @ Matt's new place. Appearance: a bit hazy blonde with almost no head. Aroma: some weird notes with raspberry notes and little acidity. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: pretty much meh.

12 oz. can, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out tart, light raspberry jam and a touch of lacto. Flavour is very light, with tart raspberry, moderate acidity, and lacto. Crisp, seltzery and gently jammy. Nothing special, but clean and decently made.

Sampled from a can this beer poured a hazy yellow-gold color with a huge foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was yeasty, citric and a touch phenolic with raspberry syrup. The flavor was very tart with raspberry and yeast notes. Long tart berry finish. Medium body.

Man, when I saw this can in eastern OH I couldn't wait to try it. Great expectations. Pale and bubbly, decent unyielding head. Taste is quite bubbly as well. Comes across sizzly and tart and fruity. Good stuff but perhaps the raspberry flavoring comes across as slightly artificial in the end. Yes, finishes with a slight processed feel to it. Not bad overall but not quite exceed any expectations. That artificial raspberry flaver-thang grows clear to the finish and almost becomes a turn off but never quite gits thar.

Not too bad though fairly simple and straightforward. Both Aroma and flavor are much alike basically tart with raspberry neither one over done and both enjoyable.

Can at Barley Hopsters. Clear yellow color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of tart berries, yeast and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of raspberry, floral yeast and biscuit malt. The finish is tart with a raspberry aftertaste. Decent overall.
