Kernkraft is the German word for “nuclear power.” It speaks both to the might of the atom and the strength of community when people come together to celebrate. In Nevada, the atomic age left its mark in unforgettable ways, and Able Baker honors that history while raising a stein to good times. Just like the shift from Märzen to Festbier at Oktoberfest in Munich, Kernkraft Festbier is a modern evolution: lighter in color, crisper on the palate, but still carrying the malt-driven heart of its heritage. Where Bavarian beer halls thunder with brass bands, ours echoes with desert skies, neon lights, and the spirit of Las Vegas. With Kernkraft Festbier, we fuse German tradition with Nevada energy — a beer built for celebration, resilience, and a little atomic spark.

6 oz draft as part of a taster tray at Able Baker Brewery in Las Vegas, Nevada. The pour is a clear copper golden with a minimal white head. The aroma is grain malt, soft toast and a bit of apple fruit. The taste is clean malt grain, cereal, soft honey sweet and some of the fruit towards the back. The palate is light to medium bodied with active carbonation and a crisp clean finish.
