Very hazy, deep dark amber and copper coloured body with a nice three centimetre tall tan head that fades moderately quickly but leaves a thinnish lace on top. Aroma of deep candy, aples, sour lemons, key limes and a dash of grapefruit and some light white wine grapes in the nose, too. Medium-bodied; Strong deep lemon, key lime and deep floral flavours show pungent up front with a lot of grassiness and a kick from sour candy noticeable, with pa nice bitterness from the alpha acids in the hops, too, with a good balance of malt as well here, and a cleanser-like note near the end, but abated by the sour and sweet fruit notes. Aftertaste shows a very nice balance of malt and hops with a great layer of wide-ranging fruits and a crisp, grassy clean bite that ends with a sweet and slightly tart candy finish, without much alcohol noticeable at all - much closer to 7 per cent. Overall, a very nice, incredibly balanced, but nuanced and showing off some odd flavours (key limes, sour candy and crisp cleanser) that work well and hides the alcohol even more. Great to sample, especially super fresh and quite local - get this one if you can find it! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Wegman's [grocery] in Woodbridge, Virginia on 02-November-2021 for US$1,99 (mixed six pack), canned on 08-April-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 10-November-2021.
