On tap at the brewery. Pours an orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is toasted malt and earth. Slick body, bready malt, honey, light finish, very good.

On tap at KC Bier, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out fermented out honey, biscuity malt and a hint of herbal character. Flavour is not so conventional for a helles, with honied malt and straw, with a crisp biscuity malt. Clean and drinkable. Pleasant.

Milk, barley malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Mildly sweet creamy barley malt and mildly bitter hay flavor. Great body and balance. Solid.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle from RobertDale poured into a glass. Slightly hazy golden with small/medium white head. Aroma is nice grain, medium/light body, lower carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is clean grain and crisp hops. Refreshing and really good for a helles.

Draft at Parkville fest. Clear golden yellow color, white head. Aroma of lightly peppery straw. Taste has subtle citrus. OK.

Several glasses from a growler filled two hours previously at the brewery in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is crystal clear golden yellow with a well formed one inch white head. Pretty beer. The aroma is bread biscuit malt, along with grass. The taste is a simple and clean blend of the fresh bread slightly sweet cracker malt and the grass hops. The palate is medium to light bodied, active carbonation and a clean finish. Easy drinking beer, nice one.

Sampler at the brewery. Another stellar rendition. Perfectly clean, no flaws, great clean malts with a subtle noble hop character. Carbonation makes this go down so easy and maybe the best helles I have drank in a while.
