What does this have to do with s'mores? Its flavored with chocolate (ok, that makes sense), cinnamon (umm, while you can buy cinnamon grahams, classic graham crackers do not taste like cinnamon), and vanilla (I guess representing the marshmallow but why, marshmallows are not vanilla flavored). The chocolate and cinnamon notes are understated here, especially the cinnamon, which just gives this a hint of being in the spiced beer category. But the vanilla mostly is the strongest feature, and well, I'm not a big fan of vanilla stouts. It also tastes and smells nothing like s'mores, not even remotely. I don't really feel motivated to give any detailed notes on aroma flavor palate etc, this beer just kinda left me wondering wtf? Its not even bad beer but how do you attempt to construct a s'mores based beer and use ingredients that have literally nothing to do with s'mores? Heck I would probably hate it if it did taste like s'mores cuz who wants a beer like that? But still I just feel like idiots created this recipe.

Dark color with a sweet malt aroma. Taste is sweet dark chocolate, slight bitter coffee grounds, with a touch of alcohol burn at the end.

I love s’mores but don’t like s’mores flavored items. This doesn’t overly change opinion. Dark brew and large head. Nose is vanilla, mellow, chocolate. Tastes of light Graham, vanilla, chocolate, sweet marshmallow, not overly sweet beer but still not quite my thing. Slick some alcohol.

From a 12 oz can. Pours black with a tan head. Aromas are medicinal and chocolatey. Flavors are bitter sweet chocolate and cinnamon. Not getting s’mores in either taste or aroma. Bit of a mess really.

Can (7/24/20) pour from Guilty Pleasures 4-pack from Total Wine & More, Burlington. Appearance is dark, dark brown (virtually opaque) with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, some light floaties about and 3-finger width light brown foamy head with decent retention and light soapy lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, milk chocolate, vanilla and hint of dark fruit. Taste is moderately strong roasted malts, milk chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow, subtle cherry/dark fruit. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation, nice alcohol warmth and finish as taste. Overall, a decent dessert stout--not super decadent or exceedingly sweet.

Bottle, WW. Pours nearly black with a large tan-brown head. Sweet chocolate, caramel, marshmallow in the nose. Caramel, marshmallow, chocolate, vanilla, roasted nuts, brown sugar, light graham cracker. Good, a bit sweet, but not cloying.

Growler, shared by imtimrhodes. Pours black, with a small, persistent, beige head. The aroma is dark chocolate, brown sugar, rye, and toasted coconut. Not too sweet, with an odd bitterness. Medium to heavy body, with a syrupy, sticky palate. This is a tasty stout.
