Draft at Friendly Greek in Lancsster, PA. Dark brown, tan head. Thick strong roast syrup and sweet sugar syrup aroma. Flavor has a lot of roast acidity taking away from the bigness but making it a bit aversive. No autolysis but old school impy stout. Was good 8 years ago. Bitter malt finish, not very coffee either. Coffee at the end of flavor, like cheap coffee additive as it warms.

Bottle. Pretty much black color, brown head. Aroma of licorice and coffee. Taste is earthy and bitter coffee grounds. Retains its beery characteristics.
