Bottle. Gold in color. A terrible beer. Funky selling and unpleasant sour flavor. Need to go back to the drawing board on this one.

Bottle. A- Sour, lemon, corn. A- Pale yellow color, clear liquid, white head. T- Grains, slightly tart, sour, wheat, corn, crackers. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- This would be a great starter beer into the world of sours for someone who only drinks macros. It tastes like a soured up Budweiser. I appreciate Leinenkugels for claiming it’s a Berliner Weisse inspired beer because it’s certainly not quite true to the style. Nice sourness to it but otherwise a pretty bland lager as the base.

Bottle from a Lazy Dog. Pours a brilliantly clear light golden color with a decent sized bubbly white head that shows moderate retention. Aromas of tart lemon and light starchy bready malt. Lightly tart flavor reminds me of lemons with little else going on in the flavor. Very clean but one dimensional really.

bottle - Pours light gold with a small white head. It smells of grainy, pale malt and some mild, tart fruitiness. The flavor is sweet and mildly tart. Light bodied. It’s okay.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours bright light gold with a white head. Light fruit aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is more towards sweet than tart. Could be good for the lake given the low ABV. It is drinkable without super serious objection.

Bottle from Kroger. Any Kroger, anywhere. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of lemongrass, cheap lager, little else. Taste is beer-tent lager, metal, and lemon. So incredibly uncomplicated and bland that I’d quit drinking if this the best available.

Yep, bought a case hoping it was better than it was. Not really berliner in nature, I guess that’s why it says berliner ’style’ on the package. Odd off aroma. Taste is easy going and somewhat watery with a tad of tartness, not much, just mildly tart. But hey, I was just at the RBSG 2016 where I was pummled with sour beers so this may be why I don’t think it comes across as described. Has a little bit of that processed macro feel to it. I can live with this, but was expecting something a little more lively or tangy for something that called itself tart or beliner. Go figger. In the end, it could use a little more co2 as well.

Bottle - Apple soft wheat.m pale clear gold with a small white. Sweet tart apple and an acidic finish. Tart Apple acidity takes away from beer.
