Draught at the brewery (Fermentaria) on May 1, 2016.Black color, tan head with lacing. Sweet, malty, cacao, chocolate, a tad metallic taste. Roasted, chocolate aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Chocolate, roasted scent.

Wonderful stout. Light velvety roast with dark chocolate and even a hint of anise. Creamy consistency. Everything I like about a stout. Bitter finish. Black pour with good head and lacing. Tap at Red Apron.

From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a brown head. Aroma is chocolate and slight vanilla. Sweet, toasted and caramelish. Chocolate and bitter. Roasted and dry malty finish.

Draft at Al’s of Hampden. Cloudy brown color. Aroma of earthy coffee grounds. Taste is sweet cocoa and coffee. Nice.
