Pint can, 2020-1 vintage. Hazelnut aroma with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, lactose sugar, vanilla and caramel. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention and a thin ring of lacing. Starts with rich, roasted malt, caramel and chocolate flavors as well as having a rich, full body and silky smooth mouthfeel. Finishes quite smooth with hazelnut, vanilla and lactose sugar flavors. Very good, but almost too sweet the more you drink it.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in the glass with a three finger khaki to tan foamy head. The head dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: roasty hazelnut up front - semi-sweet with dark chocolate, light milk chocolate and some dark toast, light tones of milk chocolate
Flavor: blends the prior mentioned aromas fairly nice and sweet, delicate roast trying to blend in, mild aftertaste of milk chocolate and hazelnut
Texture: medium bodied, decent as a sipper; fairly smooth along my tongue; finishes fairly smooth with the roast stifling some of the sweetness
Overall: definitely a well balanced imperial pastry stout more than worthy of coming back to as an evening dessert beer.

This is really special. Like a peanut butter chocolate milkshake.

Freakishly pours like chocolate milk, guess the adjuncts floated to the top, tons of chocolate in this but maybe getting weird in the can a bit. Chocolate and vanilla nose, sweet nutty upfront, but the lactose finish might have gone rampant. I miss beer.
