Cask from bluejacket. Creamy pour. Bitters. A pretty nice approximation of the style

Wish most beers were served on cask. My favourite pour. This is excellent. A better Boddingtons.

Cask pour at brewery. Dark Amber with small creamy head. Aroma is pure English, leathery malts. Taste brings in the right amount of bitterness, solid malt backbone. Right on the money.

4 oz pour on draft at Bluejacket. Slightly hazy orange amber with off-white head. Aromas of toffee, biscuit, malt. Tastes of toffee, citrus, malt, biscuit. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

Sampled at the brewery, pours a hazy tan amber with basically zero head. Nose is OK, and mostly to style, big tannic tea, some malt, a little shoe leather, some orange. Flavor is better, but not totally ESB, a little butterscotch, some soap, some lemon tea. Oily finish. Not a bad beer, but off for the style.

Cask at the brewery. Poured a slightly hazy brown color with a small tan head, bubbly and wispy. Aroma was caramel malts, light grain. Toasted caramel notes. Toffee finish.

At the source on cask: pours brownish with an off white head. Aroma is nuts and toffee as would be expected. Taste is quite malty. Not too sweet. Nice toffee bits. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Low carb, as expected. Not bad.
