Bold and complex from a tremendous amount of roasted malts, yet smooth and rich from the addition of oats. Dissent has its own opinion of what a dark beer should be.

Bomber. Pours a wonderful jet black color with a large light brown creamy head. A great nose of metal, dark fruit, heavy roast. Oats make this very creamy and full, big dark chocolate, some lactose, the roast is pretty heft, metallic lingering licorice and bitter hop notes. Lovely beer. Yeah, 7% big old stout is my kind of beer.
