A decadent imperial stout aged extensively in bourbon barrels and infused with vanilla. Inspired by Bottle Logic’s celebrated Fundamental Observation, this beer carries deep layers of vanilla, fudge, oak, and warm bourbon spice. Aging vanilla directly in-barrel enhances not only its bright top notes but also its rich, woody depths. The result is a velvety, luxurious stout that transforms dessert into a dark, liquid indulgence.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours thick, oily black with no head. Totally opaque black. Aroma of coconut and a complex nut melange - sweet. Rich, fat, greasy body, sweet roast and pleenty of nutella notes. This comes out mostly like some delicious and sophisticated desert sauce. You don't feel the beer, you don't feel the booze, but whatever it is it's damn delicious. 021225

Black. No head. Aroma is nuts, bananas, vanilla and toffee. Thick mouthfeel. Sweet and sticky taste with notes of nuts, toffee, dates and warming alcohol.

Many thanks to Finn for sharing. 150ml draught at Omnipollos Kyrka. Shiny naked surface, poor lacing, deep black body. Lightly roasted chocolate cake on the nose, attractive. Rounded taste of cocoa-chocolate cake. Smoothly roasted, lingering aftertaste. Not overly sweet. Likeable slow sipper. (Sundbyberg, Stockholm, 03.11.2025)
