A decadent imperial stout aged extensively in bourbon barrels and infused with vanilla. Inspired by Bottle Logic’s celebrated Fundamental Observation, this beer carries deep layers of vanilla, fudge, oak, and warm bourbon spice. Aging vanilla directly in-barrel enhances not only its bright top notes but also its rich, woody depths. The result is a velvety, luxurious stout that transforms dessert into a dark, liquid indulgence.

Black with a tan cap that veers to the edge.
Nose is chocolate shavings, dark malts, charr, toffee, toasted brown sugars.
Taste comprises chocolate, nutty, dark malts, molasses, light bourbon, vanilla essence.
Full bodied, oily feel, drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Tidy enough sipper but I'm not getting much barrel presence from this one.

Clear dark brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: lots and lots of hazelnuts, dark chocolate, caramel, hint of coffee, good roast, sweet impression, very nice smell! MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, lots of chocolate, a bit sweet, vanilla, caramel, a bit oxidized, lovely! Aftertaste: a bit sugary, lots of caramel, sugary, nutty, lots of hazelnuts, chocolate, oxidized, quite some alcohol, very nice!
