Sample thanks to Grumbo.
Very dark brown with a thin beige head. Aroma of chocolatey, bready and biscuity malts. Taste is the same malty flavours of chocolate, biscuit and brown bread, also tangy fruity notes. Light-medium bodied.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham, 21/03/2026.
Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a khaki cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is chocolate biscuit, cocoa powder, dried fruit rinds, toasted brown sugars.
Taste comprises tangy fruit rinds, chocolate, charr, brown bread.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Tidy for the style.

21/2/2026. Bottle at ITFC Beer share. From Sir Toby's Beers, Norwich. Great pour, lovely deep ruby brown. Aroma is malty, berries, bready, touch meaty. Robust. Enjoyable.
