Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to chalice.
Appearance: dark brown color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark fruits, light toasted nuts, caramel, banana sweetness; slight earthy tones, light cocoa powder, subtle Belgian spicy yeasty notes
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fair sweet to semi-spicy quality; finishes Belgian spicy, dark fruity and subtle bananas
Texture: medium bodied, good sipper; some smoothness but also the "back-of-the-throat" Belgian-like grab I was looking for and with some dryness
Overall: I believe I found another good Belgian beer by an American brewer! I would very much welcome this again!

Bottle at home, shared with Andy, 17/01/20. Light murk on a chestnut brown pour with a decent lasting beige cap. Nose is liquid fruit cake, caramel, light yeast esters, sugars, dates. Taste comprises caramel melt, dried fruits, sultanas, sugars, mellow yeast, fruit slice. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boost offered. Decent for the style … good balance and not too sweet.

Bottle from the Brewdog Online Shop. Pours clear copper with a big off-white head. Aromas of spicy yeast esters, plum, toffee. Taste is light sweet, a little sticky for me, but not bad.

at a tasting, medium bubbly head, murky very light brown color, aroma of wax, brown bread, hints of alcohol and candy, estery fruity flavor, candy and a bit of coconut, unpleasant alcoholic bitterness. Not good, amateurish.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Hazy amber. Caramel, fruitiness, yeast, malt, candy, sweet, a bit of alcohol. Not my thing.
