Dark brown pour. Thin tan foam around the edge. Maple syrup flavor with coffee and black tea palate.

Maple syrup nose. Black thin tan head. Coffee, tar on the back end. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation. Lacks richness, drinks like a schwarzbier, maybe a porter.

12 oz. can from the 12 Days of Beer 12-pack from Aldi. Pours a pitch black color with a small tan head and decent retention. Zero lacing. Roasted malt aroma and very light coffee. Similar flavors, with lightly roasted malts and barely a hint of coffee flavor (and that's okay). Smooth, clean, and light. Too thin for a stout. And too carbonated for a stout too. No bitterness. Drinks like a dark malt soda. The flavor is fine IMHO, but a poor example of the style.

Pour is a almost near black with a small tan head. Aroma is chocolate and burnt caramel. Flavor is like snickerdoodle coffee. It does not say coffee was used on the can but calling a breakfast Stout I guess it fits. Finish is thin and leaves some sweetness on the tongue. Serviceable low abv stout
