Malty, hoppy, and bittersweet with a hint of marmalade, inspired by a recipe brewed by Kemp Town Brewery in 1880. Chevalier provides a big malt backbone for massive quantities of British & European Hops, typical of the time, while traditional Invert No.2 sugar adds hints of molasses and lightens the finish.

Cask at the Duke of St Albans, Highgate on 25th April 2026. Coppery amber with shallow off-white foam and partial lacing. Zesty aroma with nutty malts and just the hint of soapiness. Grassy and citrusy hoppiness in-mouth with plenty of zesty peels. Bitterness and tangy, zesty citrus dominate the finish. Medium to full body and a smooth mouthfeel. Superb.
