A Cold IPA we made with our longtime friend and homebrew legend Chad Kling in celebration of all things FŌM. Chad's been a part of the Boombox story since the beginning, even helping with some of our original brews in the Callister days, so we tagged in the assist to brew up a Cold IPA worthy of the FŌM gods. Brewed with pilsner malt and plenty of rice for a crisp malt character, it’s then dry hopped with plenty of Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe to give lots of citrus, tropical, and stone fruit flavours, balanced by floral and pine notes. It’s fermented out with a clean lager yeast to make this the dry and refreshing IPA that FŌM-heads crave. Will you plunge in and join us here?

Pale, slight haze, moderate bitterness, sort of a grassy mushroomy hop character.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is super dank, with intense pot-like hops, some allium, citrus, pine, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is less abrasive, with dank, piney hops, some grassiness, and crisp biscuity malt. Dank, piney, oily finish. Good stuff.

Poured from the tap @ Threefold. Clear blonde with small white head. Mild dankness, soft tangy tropical hops, the hops become fairly subdued on the backend, finishing with a very feint, almost watery, pine hop water finish. Decent.

On tap at Threefold. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Allium, tropical fruit, and gentle pine on the nose. Flavour has plenty of allium, juicy tropical fruit, and some bitter resinous pine. More Citra than I'd like, but the beer is well constructed and the hops faithfully expressed.
