Growler pour, filled at HooDoo. Damn! Thanks, Wyatt! And welcome home. A darker, golden orange pour, thin fizz. Aroma is a touch juicy, complete with a bready malt backbone. Flavor is a steady caramel malt. Slight sweet side to it. Flavorful, and nails what I look for in a classic American IPA. Enjoyed this.

On draft at the brewery in Fairbanks. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of citrus and pine. Bitter finish.

Draft at AK BW fest 2016. Clear golden color, thick white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of bittersweet fruit. Taste is very fruity, nicely balanced, sticky mouthfeel.

At Capital Brew fest.
This was poured into a mini snifter.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy amber color with a decent transparency about it. There’s a nice lacing sliding right on into the beer.
The smell had a nice citrus to piney blend of bitterness just rolling super nicely into a nice cleansing sweet maltiness ( English? , didn’t they just make an English IPA that I just had today? That’s okay, still good for the most part).
The taste was mainly sweet through the citrus hops and then allows a really nice sweet maltiness to invade but not distract, combines very nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat sharp but not overbearing. I say this was good for its style.
Overall, if anything, this AIPA balanced well, perhaps not as sharp as a fair amount of normal AIPA’s, but hey I’d have it again.
