At 5%, this IPA is packed with fresh hop notes on both the nose and in the palate. The flavor is full of bitter notes from the combination of hops mixed with a hint of floral flavors and a nice citrus edge. Finish is bone dry.

Mikkeller Deception Session IPA 5% I really liked that for their anniversary Komachi had 3 import taps. It’s got a nice fruity hop aroma with some jam-like juiciness on a nice looking opaque-orange gold body. Light bodied with a zesty carbonation and a dry finish. The taste is fruity hoppiness, some caramel malt character and a bitting pine bitterness. Nice and easy to drink. 5% isn’t that sessionable for me but this is pretty good.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - hazy amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - tomato plant, low fruit notes like melon. Taste - canteloupe and endive. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - interesting and tasty. Not for the novice.
