A Double Chocolate Porter that’s sensually crafted with Colonial Rosewood Cocoa, chocolate malt and lots of love. The addition of White Wheat gives Sex Panther a smooth, creamy head. Brewed since 2012.

Canned. Deep brown pour not much head. Lots of cocoa, mild roast. Not too bad.

Picked up at a Flagstaff supermarket. Dark brown with a fleeting, beige head. Sits with an uninviting, inert look in glass. Admittedly colder than I would prefer, but am straining to pick up much of an aroma. Something like milk chocolate. Maybe a bit of toffee. Taste is bitter with a dollop of lingering chocolate at the finish. The body is a disaster, too much carbonation on a thin, watery palate. Really the opposite of where it needs to go. Flawed.

Canned from Total Wine & More, Plano North, Texas. Near black, mid sized creamy head. Chocolate and caramel up front. Sweet with medium-full body and creamy, rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate donuts with coffee and syrup. Mid bitter finish. Very solid

Can sample at a Special Stout tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Very dark brown with a beige head. Mildly vegetal aroma, with roast, caramel, some chocolate, nuts, a bit of fruitiness. Sweetish flavor with roast, chocolate, a bit of caramel, nuts, a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied. OK.
