Just like the layers of limestone found in the quarries surrounding Buxton Brewery, we have layered the classic flavours of this Indian dessert. Coconut and cardamon combine for a tropical, fragrant imperial stout balanced by an indulgent sweetness.

Can. Buxton online. Slick pour sits black. Slim ring of tan. Quite leggy. Nose has coconut cream. Milk chocolate. Some cardamom. Light vinous notes. Taste is tooth decay sweet. Yeah, not too much else really, apart from intense sweetness. But it’s a fucking pancake buttermilk stout. So there is that. Slick and daft and I was fancying something horrible and nasty sweet so it fit the bill. Bollocks but also not bad.

440ml can. Pours jet black with a medium head. Aroma is coconut and oily roast. Taste is sweet with coconut throughout with a little cardamom and roast on the finish.

Cardamom here is a nice addition, balances the sweetness nicely
