[On tap at the Castle Tap, Reading.] A glossy almost black pour with a thick caramel coloured head; aroma of roasted malts with some chocolate and coffee; velvety in the mouth with a fruity coffee taste; then a burnt grain bitterness to finish. Very drinkable.

Foamy tan head on a very dark brown still body.
Strange - almost chemical aroma.
Medium bodied, foamy with a smoother cloying back.
Malt, meaty, metallic & chocolate tastes with a well hopped finish.

Draft at Siren, with James, 24th January 2026. Pours a a dark brown, aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and caramel, aromatic hops. Taste is bitter, roasted malts, citrus, caramel, verging slightly in to CDA territory, very good

Can from the Siren Advent Calendar 2025. Pours clear dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of burnt toast, chocolate, red fruit, cake. Taste is brown bread, mixed fruit cake, coffee. Roasty finish.
