Sparkling Medium Dry Cider
Made from hand picked apples, picked in Ezera orchard in Kuldiga parish, Western Latvia. The 2024 vintage is a ripe, sunny expression from the old orchards' late winter variety of thick-skinned, dark red apples, which is believed to be Belorusskoje Malinovoje.
Fermented at low temperatures for several months to preserve the freshness of the northern climate. Delicate aromas of apples and meadow are in harmony with a soft texture and persistent flavour. Perfect for appetizers, soft light cheese, trout, or white meat dishes. Alc. 8%.
EZERA means “lake”, a name inspired by the beautiful Latvian nature with over 2256 lakes for the small Baltic country, and the Zvirgzdu lake, situated nearby the family property reflecting the pure natural and wild surroundings. The cider itself is produced in cooperation with a well-known cider mill in Sabile to ensure the best quality equipment and conditions for this small-batch production. Apples are gently pressed and fermented at a low temperature to preserve the flavours characteristic of a Northern climate.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 22/02/2026.
Pale golden yellow with a fast collapsing white crown ... carbonation evident.
Nose is apple skins, hedgerow, vinous notes.
Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, tannins, grass, herb.
Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, light drying close.
Okay.

750ml wired cork bottle from Fine Cider Co. Opened with a pop. Sparkling, pale golden colour, foamy white head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of ripe apple, sulphur hint. Taste is appley, fleshy, fruity, with some skin, core and drying acidity. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, medium dry acidic finish. Quite drinkable.
