Billies Beer Fest 2025 VSB (Very Special Blend)

For Billies Beer Fest 2025, we filled 1 keg of this wine/beer blend straight from the barrel. It is served on keg without carbonation. We hope you enjoy it. Santé !

In Sept 2023 we imported 1 ton of Salamino grapes from Fangereggi, a winegrower & maker in Tuscany.

We destemmed the grapes by hand, macerated them in tank for 5 days before Pigeage. Then pumped off the grape must into tank for a natural fermentation. The fermented grape must was then blended with 2 year old spontaneous beer & sent to barrels for further maturation where it still rests.

Sampled at Billies, day 2. Clear autumnal red color, no head. Aroma and flavor are a bit thin, lightly sourish, lingering dryness in your mouth. Meh. 8-5-5-5-5
