We were recently reminded that sometimes if something doesn’t fit into a premade box, it’s not the thing that needs to change, but the box. Our friends at Creature Comforts Brewing Co. have been making stellar beer for over a decade now, and we at Edmund’s Oast are not far behind. Over the years, we discovered that our respective flagship IPAs began to move away from the any given substyle of IPA and started to resemble the things we ourselves like to drink. Maybe this was a product of our environment, or some natural evolution of brewing. Maybe it was a tear in the space-time continuum that warped our sensibilities into thinking we had to reinvent the wheel. Regardless, we hope you enjoy this India Pale Ale that has manifested from our collective love of hops and beer.
Brewed with Crosby estate-grown Amarillo Cryo, Simcoe Hyperboost, and Citra, this 6.5% ABV anomaly clocks in at a firm 45 IBUs and has the audacity to boast a round malt body with just a touch of haze.

Not bad, notes of tropical fruit, dank, citrus zest, and a hint of pine, with a modest mineral bitterness laced with a touch of vanilla on the back end. Creamy texture. Tasty.
