A delicious Pils brewed with Fonio grain named after the World Acknowledged Lager Pop Up itself! We are FOMing at the mouth with excitement for you to try some!
First though, what is Fonio?
Fonio is an ancient grain from West Africa, related to millet. When used in brewing beer, Fonio adds a subtle fruitiness similar to a white wine-y character.
What is FOM Worldwide Pilsner?
We brewed this beer using a combo of Fonio and malted barley in the grain bill. We chose Hallertau Blanc hops to pair with the Fonio, to accentuate that light fruity character with soft notes of Sauvignon Blanc alongside cassis and elderflower from the hops. As one would expect from a Pilsner collaboration by Slow Hand and Brassneck Brewery, this beer is crisp and quaffable!

473ml can. Pours a clear pale gold with a medium, frothy, short lived, white head that laces. Mild aroma of grainy pale malt, lemon and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of crackery pale malt, green grape, lemongrass and floral hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Clean, refreshing and crushable.

On tap at Threefold, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma has bright grassy hops, a touch of pine, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is bright and biting, with vibrant, bitter grassy hops, a touch of pine, and a crisp crackery malt base. Super vibrant, crisp, clean. Eminently drinkable, well-hopped. Great.

On tap at Threefold with a white head. Dank piney hops and cracker malts on the nose. Flavour has a nice, dank hop profile, fresh grass, a bit herbal, some cracker malts. This is a great WC pilsner.
