SMOOTH. TOASTY. HONEY.
The second in our series proving that Sheffield’s famously soft water can brew any style of beer. This time, we had no choice but to make a porter, after all, it’s named after the Porter Brook! Here we have a porter crafted with Sheffield spring blossom honey. Expect warm, toasty notes from the dark malts, balanced by delicate, sweet marmalade tones from the honey.
Hops: Goldings. First Gold.

Can picked up at the brewery. Mucky very dark brown. Decent swede. Nose has soft vine fruit notes. Whiff of coffee truffle. Honey is very evident giving off an almost vanilla like vibe. Taste is semi sweet with earthy ashy malt dryness. Decent body. Very drinkable overall. Dry-ish finish with vinous bitterness. Good.
