Bottle sample at the source. Hazy to cloudy yellow color, still. Nice spiced aroma. Taate has funky spiced fruit and flowers, on the dry side. Nice.

9oz Pour at Scion DC. Poured a clear light orange color with a very small wispy head. ARoma was some tart notes, sweet honey? Floral character, some smoke in there. A little wood, vanilla touch,. Easy drinking. GF didn’t enjoy this one unfortunately.

Bottle bought by the girlfriend. Poured a light yellow color with a wispy head with Nice carbonation. Aroma was nice light tart notes, very floral - some peppercorn note. Flavor was nice tartness, funky floral character. Nice tart notes - a touch dry, but a lot lighter than a traditional mead.

6oz pour at Scion pours a hazy rosy caramel with zero head. Nose has dried burning pine needles, woody, earthy, a little vicks Vaporub, some sweetness, a little chestnut honey. Flavor is sweet, mildly smokey, mildly tart, earthy, some pear, piney, sprucey, a lot of forrest floor. Acetic, oily finish.
