This pre-prohibition lager pours a perfectly clear straw yellow with a dense, lasting white head. Crackery, bready, and grainy pale malt aromas are balanced by the floral, grassy, and herbal character coming from the hops. On the palate a noticeable hop bite that stays with the sip is balanced by a slight malty sweetness. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, and a crisp refreshing finish.

Clean, golden colour with no visible carbonation, but a small white head, decent stay and mild sticky lacing. Getting some nice, fresh grassy aromas with a touch of lemon sourness, herbal notes - all over the light cereal malt base. The taste is a little milder, but still has decent flavours of the malts, with a tad sweetness, the citrus and herbal touch. Shows a tad unfiltered eventually, and the mouthfeel is fairly thick for how light this one is - somewhat creamyish. Not a bad 3.5% ABV light lager, that feels closer to a 5% one.
