Dark brown colour, medium-sized brownish head. Toasted aroma has licorice in it. Light to medium-bodied. Roasted, somewhat bitter, licorice, light hoppy fruityness in the background. This CDA is more on the roasted side. Ok.

Smell of hops, roasted malt. Dark brown colour, high brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, ash, cocoa, some faint fruitiness in finish. Very bitter. Lively carbon.

Poured dark brown in color.
Nice roasted malts, getting light cocoa, good piney hops. Dry and clean, a delicate tasty Cascadian Dark Ale.

Almost black beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has roastiness, pine, light citrus. Taste has roastiness, then pine and bitterness. Medium bodied. Black side is dominationg, pretty nice.
