From a 75 cl bottle at the Ratebeer Dec 22 gathering 2015. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Light caramel aroma. Flavors of stone fruits.

Bottle at the DC December Gathering #2. Thanks noodleuser. Slightly hazy yellow with off-white head. Aromas of rice, spice, citrus, herb. Tastes of citrus, herb, rice, light coconut. Medium body with a dry finish.

Bottle courtesy of noodleuser, thanks! Hazy very pale yellow color, white head. Dusty hay and citrus aroma. Taste is peppery sweet lemon.

750 ml bottle from the RS, thanks to our trustee! Slightly hazy gold, full white bubbles of head. I enjoy the aroma, it’s mostly a Sazz hop with pils malt, the coconut is not found until the flavor.
The flavor is lightly tart up front and turns into some earth herbs in the finish. Light in body with a spirted amount of carbonation. The coconut is found mid-palate right after the hops and lingers in the finish. I really don’t think this is a novelty beer at all, nice mild coconut brew.

75CL bottle. Good hazy yellow. I smell straight up saaz with pine and pecans. Good bitterness, certainly has a really good pilsener bitterness taste, good mouthfeel, lingering coconut taste, it’s light but certainly there. the bitte from the pine is very nice. enjoyable with a good finish.

Bottle thanks to Will. Pours a hazy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong citrus, grain, faint coconut. Medium mouth, toasted coconut, grain, earthy hops, sweet, light booze, very good.

Aroma: The nose is floral, herbal, and spicy hops, plenty of lemon / lemon rind comes through too
Appearance: It pours a bright, hazy golden-orange color with a white head and medium lace
Flavor: Clean and lightly sweet, with a light-medium bitterness. Component-wise, it is similar to the aroma with lots of floral, grassy, spice, and lemony flavors plus a bit of the promised coconut .
Palate: Clean and very easy drinking, crisp, refreshing, and way too crush-able for a 7.7% beer
Overall Impression: Despite the fact that I can barely tell rice and coconut are in here, this is a really nice beer. My worry with this style is that the increased ABV ruins the crisp and easy drinking feel that makes the best pils so enjoyable. This one manages to get to 7.7% without having that issue, which is great. Love the hop mix here, with the floral, herbal, spice from the saaz and sterling marrying excellently with the bright, lemony sorachi ace. This is the kind of bright, refreshing beer that's perfect for enjoying on an unseasonably warm fall evening like this one (or really on any evening).

Draft @ Bruery. Aroma of cocos and grain. Flavor is mild, with some grain at first and some more soft cocos later on. Soft malt as well. Best pilsner I ever had.
