Not the amber colored Marzen-style beer you may be used to, our version is the paler, modern example that is served at Oktoberfest in Munich these days. Compared to our Helles, it’s a bit richer in flavor, a touch hoppier, golden in color, and fits in a little more abv. The drinking experience has been a favorite for our brewers, who have been drinking it in the steins pictured, by the liter.

Tap. Actually v24, butvi am lazy. Pours clear golden, small off white head, good lacing. Aroma is grain, malt, hay, caramel. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Light body, creamy. Good.

Pours a clear, pale copper, with smallish head. Aroma is grass, cereal, grain, malt. Flavor follows. Crisp, clean mouthfeel.

Crisp, biscuity. Clean burning. A fresher Weihenstephan Festbier. Friars in poll position heading into the eighth inning.
